Material is biodegradable in industrial compost and electric composter. The time of degradation is dependent on many parameters (temperature, humidity, composition of compost, and geometry). Therefore, it is hard to state the exact time of biodegradation. More information is in the learning video Handling the waste available on https://www.fillamentumnonoilen.com/zero-waste/

Yes, you can buy a 15 m (1.75 mm) or 6 m (2.85 mm) sample on our eshop.

The painting wasn’t tried as it is a brand-new material and the post-processing methods are not usually tested. Yes, the planter is an ideal application.

This means that it is biodegraded from 100 % in compost without remaining any microparticles smaller than 2 mm which would be harmful to the environment. This material is stable and doesn’t degrade during processing or usage. For more information, have a look at our learning videos, we explain the differences from so-far-known bioplastics.
